Leonie Kate Higgins
Manchester-based singer, songwriter, writer, and particularly beautiful cellist Léonie Kate Higgins is one fifth of all-female performance group Eggs Collective (razor-tongued cabaret) and one third of band Geddes Loom (singing, beatbox, cello, guitar, and technology).
Léonie has performed at theatres and festivals nationally including Royal Exchange Theatre, Southbank Centre, The Marquee Club and of course, Shangri La!
Former BBC Radio 4 National Poetry Slam winner, Ben is a regular performer at Shangri La! and a charismatic purveyor of high quality words for poetry, plays, stories and general musings. An Edinburgh Fringe favourite, he is the creator and host of highly-acclaimed Manchester spoken word and performance night Pen:Chant. “A pure undiluted talent.
